Everyday Leader is led by Colin Tapscott, a passionate advocate for authentic, heart-led leadership. Colin believes that true leadership begins from the inside out — developing character, courage, and a heart for others so we can first lead ourselves well before leading others.
With over 25 years of leadership experience in education, including 17 years as a headteacher, Colin has spent his career empowering others to grow, lead, and make a difference. Many of those he has mentored and worked alongside are now leading others in their own right, a legacy of empowerment that continues to ripple outward.
At the heart of Colin’s coaching and training is a simple but powerful belief: everyone has the potential to lead. Through his one-to-one coaching, workshops, and leadership programmes, he equips everyday people with the confidence, tools, and mindset to bring out the best in themselves and those around them.
Colin is also the author of two inspiring books; Everyday Alchemy: Transforming Your Trash into Treasure and Everyday People, Everyday Leaders, and is a regular conference speaker. His TEDx talk, “Grandad’s Toolbox – A Tool for Every Generation”, captures his philosophy beautifully: leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about timeless values and practical wisdom passed from one generation to the next.
